Rendezvous point

Located in the Main Post Office building, Library 10 is situated in the very heart of Helsinki‘s music scene.  Library 10 is open and accessible to everyone. The collection and many services are available on premise to those without a Helmet library card. However, the Helmet card allows patrons to loan material and to reserve use of certain equipment and facilities provided by the library. The library is open daily and the knowledgeable staff is ready to provide assistance with all questions, particularly those dealing with music and IT-related issues.

Library 10 also provides fixed computer workstations for patrons. For those wishing to bring form to their musical inspiration, Library 10 has instruments on loan to use in the library’s recording studio or audition room. Even if one is not looking to work or create, Library 10 is a convenient place to meet one’s friends, browse the library's collection, view an exhibit or performance at the Stage, or just to linger and enjoy the social milieu.
