The library etiquette

It is polite to inform the library that you and your class are going to visit even if you didn’t need any special services.

If you wish to have instruction in information searches or library usage to your class you should reserve the service well in advance. The reason for that is the fact that all class visits take a lot of time to be prepared. We can give presentations or plan information search exercises of a subject of your choice.

Instruction in information searches or library usage are basic library services and you can ask them at any library.

It is important to remember that the teacher is responsible for the class at school and the library. The presence of the teacher gives the librarians chance to concentrate on their own work.
