The first library dogs in Helsinki City Library

Reading to dogs help kids find the joy of reading despite some difficulties they might have. The reading to dogs campaign started at Etelä-Haaga Library in 2011.

The dogs are good listeners and they don’t criticise if the reading might be on the slow side.
