Digitise your LPs and cassettes at Vinyl Bar!

Vinyl is not only back at Library 10 but it is literally near center stage. At the new Vinyl Bar you can listen to LPs and audio cassettes, but also convert them to a digital format. The Vinyl Bar’s cabinets contain approximately 1500 LPs that also can be checked out. The top shelf specials include the Love Records collection which can be enjoyed at the Bar. DJ Orkidea and Islaja were some of the bartenders serving up samples from the Vinyl Bar during the night of its unveiling.

The Vinyl Bar is quite literally a bar-like table that houses two DJ-quality LP players. It is open to the general public, but can also double as a setup for events where DJs take the lead. The conversion of LPs and cassettes are specifically to CD-format, requiring a CDR / CDRW disc. It functions on a self-serve basis. The music that is converted will be played in actual time, so be prepared for this. Further editing and fine tuning can be done in Library 10’s audio editing studio.
