At Lasipalatsi, in the facilities of the former Kirjakaapeli library, there is an information service point Meetingpoint@lasipalatsi. Meetingpoint started at 2005 with help of Bill and Melinda Gates Donation Fund. Meetingpoint is administered by Helsinki City Library and since 2006 activities are funded by the City of Helsinki Innovation Fund.

Meetingpoint@lasipalatsi is public service point that provides you with guidance and advice regarding computer problems, electronic services and job hunting.

All services are free of charge.

Meetingpoint@lasipalatsi is also a venue where hardware manufacturers and service providers put their services and products on display, and users of this site have access to free-of-charge advice related to these presentations.  In addition, meetingpoint@lasipalatsi provides service providers an opportunity to meet customer groups and get direct feedback from the users of their services.
