A reverse charge mechanism for value added tax will be used in the construction sector from 1 April 2011

The City of Helsinki is an entrepreneur as intended in section 8 c subsection 1 of the Finnish value added tax act.
A reverse charge mechanism for value added tax will be applied to the Public Works Department of the City of Helsinki as buyer of construction services.
